Weekenders won by 9 wickets this year and last year Heartaches won by 10 wickets. It’s a funny old game.

The match was notable for the most incredible double tea in weekenders history made double by the home side batting on after the first round. The opening bowling duo of Douglas and Orwell which was about the best seen in living memory. Heroic fielding, good catching and another bagful for Dunne followed by a wonderful opening stand of 139 from father and son Lloyd (yet another club record?) all contributing to this wonderful day out at the picturesque ground of Aston Rowant Cricket Club.
