Bury St Edmunds

Coming from London up the M11, some 14/16 miles beyond Stansted Airport as you approach Newmarket you need to follow signs for the A11 taking the slip off to the left.
After 6 miles or so you will join the A14 coming from Cambridge. Keep going in the direction of Norwich, Thetford and Felixstowe on the joint A11/A14.
After another 5 miles or so the A11 and A14 split. You need to move over to take the right hand fork, keeping on the A14 which by now will be signposted Bury St Edmunds.
As you approach Bury St Edmunds after 12 miles you need to pass the first exit, then go on past the second exit near the Sugar Factory but the take the third exit which will be signposted A134 Sudbury.
Go round the roundabout under the A14 towards the town centre and Sudbury, you will come to another roundabout and go straight on. This will take you past a garden centre on the left and the rugby ground on the right.
After another 200 yards you come to another roundabout. Do not take the first exit to Sudbury but the second (ie straight over) towards the hospital and Haverhill.
After 50 yards, you will come to a third roundabout. This time take the first exit to the left signposted Nowton and Hawstead. The road will bear round to the right. Keep going straight on. As you approach a fork in the road with like a triangular roundabout keep to the left. At this point the ground is to your left and the entrance is just 100 yards further on to the left.
There is a sign saying Victory Sports Ground - "No unauthorised ball games, dogs etc!!!
It’s opposite South Lee School.

If you can get the map up, the ground is where the arrow is, right in the middle of the number 39. Access is from the yellow road only, not the A 134.
