The Suffolk Tour 2003
Directions to the Fixtures
Saturday 23rd, versus The Pimpernels, nr. Barrow, Suffolk, 2:00 pm

- Leave London on the M11 and take the exit for the A11.
- Continue on the A11 until the road merges with the
A14, you then take the A14 towards
Bury St Edmonds.
- About 5 miles east of Newmarket, take the Higham / Barrow exit.
- At the end of the slip road, turn towards Barrow.
- The ground is a mile down on the Right just beyond the gates of a disused
Butterfly Farm (and the 30 mph signs). The entrance is almost a national
secret so keep your eyes peeled. If you reach the village, you have gone
too far (unless you mean to do so that you might have a pint).
- The ground has excellent facilities: a gate to
enter the playing area that must be
used at all times, state of the art changing rooms that should be used
in shifts of three (tall people should change on the left) and should one
need a wee, the trees behind the changing hut are ideal.
Sunday the 24th versus
Garboldisham, 2:00 pm
- We leave Bury on the Diss Road (A134).
-
When we reach Stanton and as we go past some Garages on
the left, a turning signposted for
Garboldisham reveals itself. Take it.
Get to the crossroads on the B1066 and
head straight over, noticing the Fox Pub on the right hand side.
- Head through the village,
the road bears left, you will see a sign for Banham on the right, opposite the sign on the left is a
gap in the
